Made it to Los Angeles! ๐บ๐ฒ ✈️ ๐จ๐ฑ
Hi! ๐ฆ
I made it to San Jose early. It was a little hard leaving Ruby Sunshine ๐ฆฎ at Silas’s house, but not too bad. She wanted to come! Silas drove me to the airport, and we got there in plenty of time. While I was waiting at the gate, a friend from back during my El Jardin Preschool days, Raquel Dolittle, spotted me, and re-introduced me to her 15- and 13- year old daughters (I taught the oldest when she was 3!) They are heading to Costa Rica, and we were on the same flight to Los Angeles.

I’m always amazed how quickly the populated areas disappear,
and there is so much unpopulated land in California
A little ocean view as we got near to Los Angeles

Got to L.A. fine. It was a long walk to the International Terminal and not easy to figure out. Fortunately there were helpful people along the way. I had to ask 3 times. Now I’m waiting at the gate. I’m the first one on the team to arrive. Our flight leaves around 4 p.m. It’s 1:42 now.
I know Raquel and Josh Doolittle!
