The Promised Land & CS Coffs Harbour π³ π π« π π₯£ π
Thursday, May 16, Part 2:
After the morning farm tour (Sally’s farm covers 25 acres), we drove through the countryside to a beautiful place called The Promised Land.
We went swimming in this chilly pool of water in the river, and I climbed up onto the swing to sway back and forth a bit before jumping back in. I didn’t try the rope swing, though!
We had lunch in a small town called Bellinger, one of the oldest towns in Australia.
We had to rush to get back to Coffs Harbour for the Christian Surfers Thursday Arvo (afternoon) gathering at Diggers Beach South End.
Pretty rainy & dreary out
After the gang surfed (I gathered shells and skipped rocks), we went to Juda Leet’s mom’s house nearby for soup in her garage/workout room. This was the first Thursday Arvo meeting they’ve had in a while, and they had a great turnout! Juda and his wife Lily are the CS Regional Coordinators and have also been covering the Coffs Harbour chapter. Juda introduced the (young) new leaders for Coffs Harbour, a sister and brother team Savannah & Sam. I brought them all greetings from CS in Santa Cruz, California, congratulated them for their great group, and blessed them for fruitful ministry.

When Sally picked me up, she got a chance to meet Juda & Lily for the first time, and to meet Sam. (Sally and her now-in-Heaven husband Dean were involved with CS before they moved north to Coffs Harbour about 4 years ago, 2 years before Dean got sick.)
