Saturday with Christian Surfers Forster π¦πΊ π π️ π³
Saturday Morning, May 4:
I had my 11:00 Friday Therapy appointment on Zoom at 4 a.m. Saturday!
Then at 7:00 a.m. Christian Surfers Forster gathered for their weekly surf at South One Mile Beach, with brekky (aka breakfast) and a devotional afterward. I borrowed a wettie (aka wetsuit) from Tiana and tried to bodyboard, but the waves were giant and closing out. I couldn’t even get past the breaking waves. But we had heaps of fun anyway!

Paddling out as the sun rises
My “beautiful feet” in the soft, fine, squishy sand
Yes, she's walking four dogs and a goat
The sun shining through the clouds was beautiful.
I reckon it will look like that when Jesus returns.
A stop at the showers after surfing

Cooking brekky
Gathering to eat brekky, they put the eggs & ham on bread so no plates or utensils are needed

Before going back to the house, we stopped at an Op Shop (aka Thrift Shop) so the girls could look for a dress to wear to a wedding coming up next Saturday. Then we went home and hung out. There were CS members and other folks stopping by all day long, and even spending the night! I am beginning to understand what “CS Drop-in House” means. Tiana played guitar and sang worship songs, and everyone took turns holding the baby. Really sweet!

We saw two dolphins swimming here in this harbor area, but I couldn’t catch a photo of them
Women’s clothes have definitely gone retro to a 70’s look here. Is it that way at home, too?
In the evening the guys all went to hang out where there was a campout, and we girls stayed home for dinner & brownies.
Love that shot of the woman walking her four dogs and goat! π
