Another Day of Work π² π¨π± π² π
¡Hola! π¦
(In case you haven’t noticed, this is a Missions Trip, not a vacation! If you’d like to contribute toward my support, information is in the profile section of my blog, to the left of the posts. Thanks!)
On Thursday, I started the day with the “Zumba” class again, then breakfast, and a Devotional time studying Nehemiah 1, followed by a plan of the work scheduled for the day.
This is the view from where we eat breakfast and lunch at the Pura Vida building
For me, the work assignment was painting. Before lunch, I helped paint the men’s bathroom, and after lunch, I helped paint the men’s locker room.
Too windy to surf that evening, so we took off a little earlier than usual and walked down to the oceanfront road to get yummy ice cream. I got pistachio flavor. (Pichilemu has come a long way since we moved back to the States in 1996. Much better ice cream!) After that we walked to the town’s Skate Park so some of the guys could try it out. Then we walked to the Empanada Shop for another empanada dinner.
Extras:
While we were debriefing at the end of our work day, a homeschool group that meets at Pura Vida was having their P.E. class in the gym. Look at the mix of ages! (There were girls, too, just not in this photo.)
Just had to show you how adorable 4-month-old baby Lou is!
♥️
